This design is called “Hotaru”, “fireflies” in Japanese. In daylight the pen shows a deep blue and glittery body encapsuled in clear glass with the trails that fireflies leave in the dark of the forest. The trails glow in the dark in a beautiful color that seems coming up from a magic forest in a fairy tale, creating a mesmerizing visual effect.
This glass pen shape has a simple design, allowing a comfortable grip and effortless writing experience. The maria, which is the ring right on the back of the nib, offers an extra grip control. It also contains a glow in the dark flower that, due the light conduction, will make the tip of the glass pen look like glowing in the dark too.
