This handmade bag by The Superior Labor can be used as a 2-way bag. Its design is so simple yet so gorgeous that will match so well with many fashion styles.

It closes with a brass zipper. It has two handles and a removable shoulder strap attached with brass lobster clasps. It has an open pocket on the front side and a double pocket on the inside. The lining is made of natural color canvas, with The Superior Labor logo painted with a stencil.

The Superior Labor Engineer bags are made using Kurashiki canvas. Kurashiki canvas is made with a very high quality 100% cotton thread woven on shuttle looms of which only 150 feet a day can be produced.

The leather strap and handles are made with Japanese cow vegetable-tanned leather. The tanning process does not use any chemicals or harmful substances. Only natural products like resin extracted from mimosa bark are used. The gentle tanning allows leather to show its beautiful texture and let its natural oils out with time and use, building a deep and luster patina. Enjoy the charming changes of the leather aging and turning its tone to amber. 

The brass parts are made in a casting factory in downtown Tokyo. Enjoy how the brass metal changes naturally with the use and the passage of time. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, which will naturally tarnish when exposed to oxygen. Oils from your skin in addition to oxygen in the air accelerate tarnishing on brass. Generally, brass corrodes when the zinc, copper and tin components of the alloy are exposed to water. Oxidized brass is typically blackish, green or blue, and hardens like a thick crust over the surface. This coating usually flakes off and can be removed to reveal the shiny brass surface.

From materials to finishing, this bag is proudly hand-manufactured by Japanese craftspeople, from sewing and painting to washing and assembling, you can taste and enjoy Japanese craftsmanship.

This is a semi-order product. 
Each piece will be hand-painted.

1. Choose the color of the paint for the bottom.

2. Choose the logo that will be spray painted with a stencil.

3. Choose one of the two adjustable shoulder straps.
     - Standard strap: 75 – 96 cm // 29.53 - 37.80 inches
