UKIDEL Shachihata Stamp Pad (includes refill ink and special cleaner)

Ukidel Shachihata Stamp Pad allows you to stamp in negative!!! This mysterious ink appears white when applied and there are many ways to enjoy it!

This white stamp pad uses special ink that repels water-based (dye) ink.
・When you apply fountain pen ink or a water-based marker over a stamped image from a rubber stamp, the illustration will appear in white!

This stamp pad ink and cleaner are mean to use with rubber stamps. They cannot be used with clear stamps or hand made eraser stamps as they might damage them.

The packaging can be used as a storage case.

The set includes: 
- Ink pad
- White ink bottle (black cap)
- Cleaner for rubber stamps after using the white ink (yellow cap)
- Tray to pour the white ink before to transfer it to the ink pad (the tray is part of the clear packaging, you will find in in the interior, it is pre-cuted and easy to tear) 

<How to Use>
1. Please, fill the ink pad with the special ink before use.
Shake well the special ink bottle (black cap).
Drop some ink into the refill tray (a transparent part of the packagin easy to tear appart to use). The ink has a creamy texture similar to glue. Then, place the stamp pad cushion facing down on the refill tray with the white ink. Rub it well to get ink in all its surface. Leave it like on the top of the white ink for around 10 minutes. When all the ink has been absorbed, it is ready to use.

You don't need to add ink every time you use the stamp pad. Refill it only when it does not stamp any more.

When you need to refill the ink again, apply the special ink directly to the stamp pad surface in a light circular motion and spread it evenly with the tip of the nozzle.

2. After stamping on paper with the rubber stamp, let the ink to dry completely for about 10 minutes. Once the ink is dry, paint over it with fountain pen ink or a water-based marker.

Letting the stamped image dry for about 10 minutes will allow the ink to repel nicely.
To get a nice finish, press and absorb any excess ink on top of the impression with a cotton swab or tissue before it dries.

3. If the white ink does not penetrate well, the stamp pad surface may have hardened or become sticky and difficult to use. In this case, use the cleaner liquid included on the stamp pad.
(a) Pour some drops of the special cleaner onto the hardened stamp pad so that it covers the entire surface.
(b) Close the stamp pad's cap and place the pad flat with the pad facing up for 60 minutes.
(c) Once the ink on the stamp pad's surface has melted and softened, make a test stamp before using it.

If there is not enough ink, refill with more ink.

<CAUTION>
- Ukidel refill ink and cleaner cannot be used with clear stamps or eraser stamps. There is a risk of damaging the stamp surface.

- Ukidel is for water-based dye inks only. It will not repel water-based pigment inks or oil-based inks. Please test on unwanted paper before use.

- Do not use for anything other than stamping on paper.

- The ink and cleaner contain volatile solvents that are flammable, so when using them, ensure good ventilation and be careful of fire.

- As these are chemical products, please avoid mixing with other inks or solvents.

- Please, note that depending on the paper quality and the water-based ink applied on top, it may not repel well, so please check before use.

- After use, close the cap of the stamp pad and store it flat.
