(九ポ堂) Kyupodo Post Card: Bistro MOGU MOGU (for moles and mice)
We are so proud to be carrying this lovely post card from Kyupodo (九ポ堂) at the Wanderlust shop. We love this letterpress company for their beautiful work with gorgeous handmade printings and lovely designs.
Their adorable retro postcards are not just beautiful, the humor on them is really smart and funny, making us loving them even more.
The Wanderlust team has made a very big effort to translate the cards, so you can not just enjoy their artwork, but also understand how funny they are.
The name of this restaurant is "Bistro MOGU MOGU".
"MOGU MOGU" is a Japanese onomatopoeia that means "om nom nom". The sound of eating something with so much delight.
The owner of the restaurant is a mole. Those cooks are also moles.
This is a 2 "Molelin" stars restaurant.
Reservations are not accepted. If you really want to eat at this restaurant, you have to wait in line.
They are using soil as a black pepper for special taste, maybe...
Be aware that your complaints will not be accepted, because their food is not for regular humans...
Today's special menu is listed below:
- Wormcchine with Dandelion Cream: Similar to fettuccine but made using earthworms.
- Sheperonchino (aglio olio): They use sheperd's purse plant instead of chili peppers.
- S cargonara (Escargot): They use escargot, instead of bacon or cured pork.
- Dandelion Wine, Dandelion Coffee
Even the owner is a mole, he is not a spy.
He will never put a poison on your meal.
Some people had a stomachache but, they were cured next day.
Their unforgettable taste will make you want to come back again and again...
