(九ポ堂) Kyupodo Post Card: Cafeteria Crescent Moon

We are so proud to be carrying this lovely post card from Kyupodo (九ポ堂) at the Wanderlust shop. We love this letterpress company for their beautiful work with gorgeous handmade printings and lovely designs. 

Their adorable retro postcards are not just beautiful, the humor on them is really smart and funny, making us loving them even more.

The Wanderlust team has made a very big effort to translate the cards, so you can not just enjoy their artwork, but also understand how funny they are. 

The Cafeteria Crescent Moon is a Japanese sweets shop. Their menu is so original and unique. If you find this cafeteria, you definitely have to go in.

- Stardust Jelly
- Saturn Ice Cream

We recommend you to try the "Full Moon Shiruko".
It is a special version of a traditional Japanese dessert. The ingredients are mochi that has being pounded on the moon by the rabbits in a sweetened red beans soup. It's so yummy! You will never forget about that taste!

In Japan, we think that there are rabbits on the moon.
The rabbits are in there making mochi (rice cake) with so much joy.
During Tsukimi, the Moon Festival, we look at the moon searching for the shape of the rabbit making mochi.
