I want to tell you why I wanted to draw this series of stories.

After three years of immersing myself in the pandemic, I embarked on my first grand tour in 2023.
Why is it called a grand tour? Because this year’s travel experience had a special significance to me.

That was the first time in my life that I packed up my camping equipment, put on a heavy backpack, flew to the North, and walked into the King’s Trail in the wilderness. I hiked more than 100 kilometers on this trip, and it was the first time I took myself on such a long journey.

In September of the same year, I accompanied my sister to her dream place - Alaska. We went to Denali National Park to see the red mountains and fields, took the train to Fairbanks to encounter the aurora, and took a bumpy ride. The minibus crossed the Arctic Circle.

At the end of the year, I went on a trip around the island with my family.

These days on the road, whether it was the vast nature or an ordinary meal with my family, they are, to me, a beautiful scenery that I want to treasure in my heart.

The scenery along the way is a gift of a lifetime. So I drawed this series over many nights and many sunrises. As an illustrator, when I bring you these scenery of life, the journey seems to have truly come to an end.

"Let's go on a road trip" is dedicated to every life that loves the world.
